3. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided by Clearwater Sauna Builders are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotes are based on information available at the time of assessment and may be subject to revision if site conditions, project scope, material costs, or client requirements change.
Final pricing is confirmed in the written project contract. We are not responsible for pricing errors or omissions communicated verbally or outside of a written contract.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are established in each individual project contract. Typical payment schedules require:
- A deposit upon contract signing (typically 30–50% of total project value)
- Progress payments at agreed-upon project milestones
- Final payment upon project completion and client acceptance
Late payments may be subject to interest charges as specified in the project contract. We reserve the right to suspend work on projects where payment obligations are not met.
5. Cancellations and Changes
Cancellation of a signed project contract may result in forfeiture of the deposit and reimbursement of any materials already ordered or fabricated. Change orders that alter the project scope, materials, or timeline after contract signing will be documented in writing and may affect the total project cost and completion date.
6. Workmanship Warranty
Clearwater Sauna Builders warrants that all work performed will be completed in a professional and workmanlike manner in accordance with applicable building codes and manufacturer specifications. Our standard workmanship warranty covers defects in installation and craftsmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow our maintenance guidelines
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by acts of nature (including hurricanes, flooding, or lightning)
- Defects in manufacturer-supplied materials or components (covered by their own warranties)
- Work performed by third parties after project completion
Extended warranty options may be available — ask us for details during the proposal process.
7. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate information about the project site, access requirements, and any relevant existing conditions
- Ensure safe and unobstructed access to the work area during agreed working hours
- Obtain any HOA approvals or neighbor consents required prior to project start
- Disclose any known underground utilities, plumbing, or electrical that may affect the work
- Make timely decisions when required to keep the project on schedule
- Make payments according to the agreed schedule
8. Permits and Inspections
Where included in the scope of work, Clearwater Sauna Builders will apply for and manage required building and electrical permits. The client is responsible for any permit fees unless otherwise agreed in writing. Work requiring permits will not commence until permits have been approved. Final inspections and certificate of occupancy (where applicable) are facilitated by our team.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, Clearwater Sauna Builders' total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.
